The Edmund Grindal Society The New School Foundation Appeal Event Now that all the Edmund Grindal Society covenants/standing orders have come to a close, on behalf of St Bees School, the St Bees School Charitable Trust Ltd and the St Beghian Society, we would like to thank all those OSBs who very kindly donated towards the Edmund Grindal Society and the subsequent new school’s opening in 2018. By way of thanks, we invited the donors to visit the school on Thursday 12th December for a special Christmas lunch, followed by a tour of the school to see at firsthand the progress made since the re-opening. Unfortunately, distance, age, work commitments and other reasons meant that several donors were unable to attend, however it was lovely to welcome the ones who were able to join us. We do hope you all enjoyed seeing the school in session, along with the end of term and Christmas festivities. We very much enjoyed spending the afternoon with you and thank you all once again for your support and generosity.
